Review of Mango Wood Incense Burner Box

I purchased this as a replacement for my many years old rosewood burner of the same pattern (except the elephants).

I am very pleased with both its looks and build. The side holes are quite small, suitable for those incense sticks that use a fine core such as my favorite Satya range. For others, you could easily use a small drill to enlarge one or both of the holes.

I shall probably buy a couple more for presents when back in stock.

Couple of usage hints
- Keep the ash for as long as you can since it retains some of the aroma, which is released when the box is warmed - say on a windowsill in the sun.
- Do not put any pressure on the two small brass plates used for incense cones, because they are very thin, and will deform easily or fall out,
- To easily hold your incense stick in position, use a pea-sized blob of Blu Tack. It still annoys me that it took me several years to realise this.
